Wed 25th Aug - Crown evidence comes to close
The Crown's case against murder accused Scott Watson, is drawing to a close in the High Court in Wellington, with the last of the prosecution witnesses taking the stand today, Thursday morning at the latest.
On Tuesday headphones appeared in the courtroom, as the jury prepared to hear secretly recorded tapes of conversations involving 28 year old Watson, who's denied murdering Ben Smart and Olivia Hope around New Year's Day last year.

However, due to several adjournments during the day the court didn't get to the tapes.

Justice Heron also placed interim suppression orders on evidence from several witnesses Tuesday.
